Where the Sun Hides
Where the Sun Hides
DAN ESAREY – PHOTOGRAPH BONDED TO ALUMINUM – 24 X 36 in
This piece comes ready to hang and showcases Dan’s photography with a brilliant, glossy finish. The photograph will not fade and can be easily cleaned with glass cleaner.
This image was photographed in Canyonlands National Park, near Moab, Utah. Dan tried to capture the image in September but the weather didn’t cooperate, so he returned in November and camped out in 20 degree weather to be nearby when the magic happened. He hiked nearly a mile in total darkness to be in the right location two hours before sunrise. When it happens you don’t have much time, the sun is here and over in just a few minutes. Dan’s four year-old grandson asked if this is where the sun hides at night.
