DAN ESAREY – PHOTOGRAPH BONDED TO ALUMINUM – 24 X 36 in
This piece comes ready to hang and showcases Dan’s photography with a brilliant, glossy finish. The photograph will not fade and can be easily cleaned with glass cleaner.
This image was captured north of Jackson, Wyoming last fall. Dan spent quite a bit of time working on getting them in the right light by photographing them in the early morning, late afternoon, and even in the middle of the night for two different nights. Dan spent the night there in his Suburban as the temperature got down into the 20's. He found it fascinating to see how different the barns look in the varying light. As the moon rose from the east, it seemed as though it was almost sunrise. Shadows of the nearby trees fell on the barns, then as the moon traveled across the sky during the night, it got pitch black and he had to add some "light painting" to the barn to get it to show at all. What an incredible experience to see it, then to capture it with camera was icing on the cake.
